Nurtur Appoints Jeremy Corbett, MD, as Chief Health Officer to Drive Clinical Innovation and Quality Improvement

Dr. Corbett will be responsible for driving clinical innovation strategy and quality improvement to strengthen Nurtur’s position as a leader in health and wellness. Additionally, he will be responsible for establishing and leading the Nurtur Behavior Change Advisory Council.

Nurtur®, the health, wellness and productivity company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy J. Corbett, MD, as Chief Health Officer, effective as of September 2, 2013.

Dr. Corbett will be responsible for driving clinical innovation strategy and quality improvement to strengthen Nurtur’s position as a leader in health and wellness. Additionally, he will be responsible for establishing and leading the Nurtur Behavior Change Advisory Council.

Most recently, Dr. Corbett served at the Chief Medical Director at Kentucky Spirit Health Plan, a health insurance company for Kentucky's Medicaid population with greater than 150,000 beneficiaries. Previously, he was Vice President of Medical Affairs at VaxCare Corporation, a preventive health company located in Orlando, FL. Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Corbett holds a medical degree from the University of South Florida, and completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Corbett’s undergraduate degree is from Asbury University in Wilmore, KY.
