Security Industry Veteran Brad Buswell Joins Rapiscan Systems
Torrance, CA (PRWEB) October 07, 2013 -- Rapiscan Systems, Inc., a leading global supplier of security inspection systems, announced today that Brad Buswell has joined the company as President, Rapiscan Aviation Products. Buswell most recently served as President and CEO of Morpho Detection, Inc.
In his role at Rapiscan, Buswell will be responsible for overseeing the company’s expanding position as a leading security solution provider to the global aviation market.
Prior to his appointment as President and CEO of Morpho Detection, Buswell served as Deputy Under Secretary for Science and Technology at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) where he led technology development for the operating components of the Department of Homeland Security including the Transportation Security Administration, Customs & Border Protection and U.S. Secret Service, as well as state and local first responders. Buswell also previously served as vice president of global strategy for Morpho Detection.

Buswell has more than 20 years experience as an officer in the U.S. Navy and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. He holds a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.
