Starlite Recovery Center Announces New Medical Director, Dr. Bryan M. Davis, D.O., MSPH
Center Point Tex. (PRWEB) October 07, 2013 -- Starlite Recovery Center, the longest running free-standing chemical dependency treatment center in Texas, has announced the appointment of Bryan M. Davis, D.O., MSPH, to Medical Director. Dr. Davis is a Board Certified family medicine physician and a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. He has clinical and leadership experience in Arizona and Texas, serving as both a professional addiction medicine consultant and medical director.

Dr. Davis graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and worked as a chemical engineering consultant in Texas and Louisiana before obtaining a Masters degree in Toxicology and Risk Assessment from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He continued his work at Tulane University in partnership with the CDC Research Center as a research toxicologist and epidemiologist. After being awarded his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Davis completed his residency training from Scott & White in Temple, Texas.
It was through his research and clinical work that Dr. Davis became interested in working with individuals and families affected by the disease of addiction.
