Supreme Group Wins DLA-E Contract for the Provision of Fuel to FOB Salerno in Afghanistan
Reston, Virginia (PRWEB) October 08, 2013 -- Supreme Group, a global leader in the provision of end to end supply chain solutions in challenging environments around the world, has been awarded a contract for the provision of fuel in Afghanistan from the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency - Energy (DLA-E). The two-year contract is for the delivery of Aviation Turbine Fuel to Forward Operating Base (FOB) Salerno in Afghanistan, from three different distribution points within the country.
It is the second major DLA-E contract for Supreme this year, as the company was also recently awarded a two-year, USD 550 million contract to deliver Jet Fuel, Diesel and Motor Gasoline to ten U.S. FOBs and one Defense Fuel Supply Point (DFSP) in Afghanistan.
