Skytron’s Spectra LED Exam Light Brings Quality and Brilliant Illumination to Patient Care
Grand Rapids, MI (PRWEB) October 10, 2013 -- Skytron (http://www.skytron.us) recently announced the latest addition to its line of healthcare lighting solutions: the Spectra AUT1 exam light. The light features exclusive LED technology that offers bright, clear and shadow-free illumination for the exam room, emergency department, ICU, labor and delivery unit and many other patient care environments.
Utilizing the same Vertically Segmented Reflector Design (VSRD) as Skytron’s LED surgical fixtures, the Spectra AUT1 exam light dramatically reduces shadows while producing a clear, white spot. Other features include 360° rotation on all axes, drift-free arm, sealed light head for simplified cleaning and LEDs with an expected life of 40,000 hours.
“The Spectra AUT1 exam light sets a new standard of quality and brilliant illumination for patient exams,” said Monica Pritchard, VP of Business Development at Skytron. “Healthcare clinicians already know Skytron for our market-leading surgical lights; now that same technology is available for exam rooms and general patient care areas.”
The Spectra AUT1 exam light complements Skytron’s complete menu of lighting solutions that also includes surgical, minor procedure and recessed fixtures. The light represents Skytron’s fourth generation of Spectra exam light, but the first model to feature the company’s exclusive LED optics.
