Techweek New York, the conference dedicated to showcasing the innovation ecosystem in New York City and along the east coast, has unveiled the Techweek100, a list of influencers making an impact on the New York business and technology landscape.
Chosen by the Techweek community, advisory board and staff, the Techweek100 honors individuals from all aspects of the tech community including prominent investors, service providers within the digital ecosystem, leaders of fast-growing tech companies and those at the forefront of new tech platforms. These individuals display significant reach and influence and have made substantial contributions to the local tech community as well as their own organizations.
The full list of Techweek100 honorees is available on the Techweek website. All honorees will be invited to attend Techweek New York events as special guests.
“The Techweek100 gives us the opportunity to recognize a group of key contributors in the New York City area who support and further our mission to showcase, celebrate and enable innovation,” said Sam Kennedy, Techweek Executive Director. “For our first year in New York City, we’re excited to bring the tradition of Techweek100 to the east coast and continue expanding our efforts to bring the best technologists and thought leaders together.”
Having previously hosted conferences in Chicago and Los Angeles, this is Techweek’s first conference in New York. Techweek New York kicks off Oct. 17 at 82Mercer in Manhattan and will feature speaker sessions, a startup launch competition and a tech-fashion runway show.
Techweek’s mission is to showcase, celebrate and enable emerging innovation ecosystems. Debuting this year, Techweek New York, Oct. 14-20 at 82Mercer in Manhattan, is quickly becoming a preeminent destination event complete with partner-sponsored and related events. The conference, Oct. 17, will feature speaking sessions, a launch competition for startups and a tech fashion show. Techweek is also active with events in both Chicago and Los Angeles.
