Microsoft Windows & Office 365 Migration Events Coming Up in November Hosted by Microsoft and NetCom Learning
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 08, 2013 -- NetCom Learning, 2013 Microsoft Learning Partner of the Year finalist, announces they will be holding two all-day free clinics on behalf of Microsoft in November in New York City and in the Washington DC area concerning Microsoft Windows & Office 365 Migration. The complimentary clinic in New York City will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 and in the Washington DC area Thursday, November 7, 2013. The New York Clinic will be held at Microsoft Corporation offices at 1290 Avenue of the Americas on the sixth floor. Thursday’s Clinic will be held at the Microsoft Corporation’s office at 5404 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 700 located in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Both clinics will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and the speaker for both events is Richard Brown, a highly experienced Microsoft Certified Trainer and Subject Matter Expert at NetCom Learning. The Clinics are free but RSVP is required as seating is limited. A light breakfast, luncheon and refreshments will be provided.
The focus of the Clinics will be the new tools, strategies and technologies available to successfully migrate and deploy Windows and Office 365. The morning session for both clinics is entitled XP Eradication: Moving to Windows 7 and 8. The session will include discussions of auto migration, migrating user files and settings, hard link migration, the installation of Windows 7 or 8 and the deployment of System Center Confirmation Manager. The afternoon session provides a first look at Office 365 and Windows Azure. The functionality and new features available in these Microsoft Cloud offerings will be highlighted. A case study approach will be utilized to demonstrate how best to deploy Office 365.

The software suite was first launched in 2011. All Office 365 components are managed through the use of an online portal.
Windows 7 and Windows 8 are both versions of Microsoft’s Windows operating system that can be used on multiple types of devices including personal computers, business desktop computers, laptops, tablets, notebooks and home theater personal computers.
The speaker for both Clinic events is Richard Brown, who has more than twenty five years of experience in the IT industry as both an instructor for Microsoft courses and as an a enterprise technician. In previous positions Richard worked as a network engineer managing Microsoft, Novell and Cisco networks for a variety of organizations including top New York banking institutions. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Subject Matter Expert with NetCom Learning. Brown holds a multitude of technical certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, and Novell.
