Pflugerville, Texas (PRWEB) October 09, 2013 -- Anyone interested in learning more about the Trex Elevations Steel Framing System will have the chance to get a first-hand look at how it works at the upcoming TimberTown Austin workshop. TimberTown Austin is pairing up with TrexPro contractors to demonstrate how the system is installed, discuss technical specs and explain the advantages of using a steel substructure.
“The Trex Elevations Steel Framing System is one of the most durable, low maintenance systems for decking,” said TimberTown owner Steve Anthony. “Of course we like our wood, but when it comes the strength and lasting integrity steel has an advantage over pressure-treated lumber.”
The workshop will be held on November 14, 2013 from 11am – 2pm at the TimberTown Austin facilities on 15607 Grand Street in Pflugerville, TX. During the workshop TimberTown Austin will be offering complementary food and beverages. Attendees can also participate in a giveaway to win tickets to see the UT vs. Oklahoma State game.
The Trex Elevations Steel Framing System consists of four components:
• Deck support posts
• Beams
• Joists
• Tracks
The systems have a 25-year limited warranty and won’t rot, sag or warp overtime. Like other Trex products the Elevations Steel Framing System is made using eco-friendly, recycled material.
Trex Company is currently the largest producer of wood-alternative decking products in the U.S. The company began in 1996, and their products are now sold in more than 5,500 locations across North America.
