FEECO exhibited at the first annual Heap Leaching Conference last month, showcasing their ore agglomeration drums and paddle mixers. FEECO was additionally recognized in the presentation of a paper given by MWH Americas for their contribution to feasibility testing of ore fines used in the heap leaching process.
MWH Americas presented their findings based on work carried out in the FEECO Lab, in a paper entitled, “Pilot-scale Drum Agglomeration of an Oxide Ore with High Fines and Variable Moisture.”
The case study was based on research and tests carried out in FEECO’s Green Bay lab facility, where FEECO set up a pilot-scale agglomeration testing program to help the company determine the feasibility of agglomerating their variable moisture ore fines in a continuous process.
FEECO runs various feasibility tests in their lab, helping companies to solve their material and process problems. For more information, visit the FEECO website.
