PointClickCare Announces General Availability of Certified Interface for Omnicare Pharmacy Services

Since the initial pilot release of the interface in 2012, over 300 facilities are leveraging the PointClickCare Integrated Medication Management solution to provide seamless integration between the electronic order entry and eMAR systems and their Omnicare pharmacy.
Through the electronic exchange of information, organizations reduce the risk of medication errors and adverse drug events, while saving time by eliminating the arduous month end medication reconciliation process. Eliminating costs associated with maintaining paper MARs/TARs, binders, and faxes enable clinical staff to spend more time where it is needed most - caring for residents and their families.
