RMS 9 Enhances Applications and Introduces New Functions

Simplification is the name of the game for RMS 9, RMS North America’s latest version of the popular reservation software.

“RMS 9 is making it easier than ever for park owners and operators to transition to and use a cloud-based reservation system,” remarked David Jones, RMS Global Sales Manager. “We really focused on streamlining the reservation process, including eliminating redundancies for front desk workers and building an enhanced online reservation screen that better matches guests to the appropriate RV site.”

Additional notable RMS 9 enhancements include:

Better rate and inventory control.
Thanks to the simple graphic layout, owners can quickly check their current demand levels and pricing. Managing business rules, like minimum length of stay, is also easy to oversee and edit when necessary.

Preventative resort maintenance scheduling.
From statutory obligations to regular resort maintenance, RMS Preventative Maintenance allows park operators to set up reminders and log all ad hoc and routine jobs. Conveniently, RMS 9 allocates jobs to specific people and generates detailed job sheets.

“Click and Draw” reservation capabilities.
Unnecessary keystrokes are eliminated and mistakes reduced when using RMS 9’s new “Click and Draw” style of booking. Rather than fill in field after field of data, quickly enter single or group reservations by "drawing" reservations with the mouse on the booking chart. Multiple reservations can be made at the same time, without switching from screen to screen.

Improved online reservation screen.
Large RVs on small sites, small RVs or large sites? Not with RMS 9. With the new online booking screen, RV characteristics are gathered and correctly matched to available sites. Operators can allocate certain sites for certain types of vehicles, like Class A motorhomes in one section and tents in another.
