Edgenuity Announces Second Annual Video Contest
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) October 15, 2013 -- Edgenuity, a leading provider of online and blended learning solutions, is encouraging middle and high school teachers that use Edgenuity’s online curriculum to submit short videos demonstrating their best stories of how online and blended learning is improving academic outcomes for their students. The winner will receive a $5,000 technology grant for their school, and two runners-up will receive five one-year individual student licenses for Edgenuity, enabling their schools to extend online and blended learning capabilities to additional students.
The video contest, named “Every Click Counts”, has now opened its call for entries. Teachers interested in participating can simply produce and submit a video that conveys how they have used Edgenuity to help drive positive academic results for students.
“We know there are untold stories of educators using online and blended learning to successfully personalize instruction to improve student outcomes,” said Sari Factor, CEO, Edgenuity Inc. “We are giving our school partners a forum to share their successes and show how they’ve worked with Edgenuity to empower, encourage and nurture students so they can reach their full potential.”
Videos must not exceed three minutes and be uploaded to http://www..edgenuity.com/VideoContest [http://www..edgenuity.com/VideoContest __title__ ] by 11:59 p.m. on December 7, 2013. The winner and runners-up will be showcased as part of Edgenuity’s participation in Digital Learning Day on February 6, 2014, a national event to promote awareness about technology’s role in improving education.
