Discussing a herniated disc
A herniated disc occurs when the inner material of a vertebral disc pushes through the disc’s tough outer shell. The gel like substance may cause irritation and inflammation in and around exiting nerve roots causing pain in both the local area as well as referred into either the upper or lower limbs.

An endoscopic discectomy is a form of minimally invasive surgery that can be performed to removed herniated disc material that is causing a patients pain and other symptoms. There is considerably less blood loss, no overnight hospital stay, no need for general anaesthesia, and you will recover quicker and be back at work or play within just a few short weeks.
What is Endoscopic Spine Surgery?
Endoscopic spine surgery is a less invasive form of surgery that replaces the more intrusive open back procedures commonly performed today. Although not everyone is a candidate, Whenever possible, the advantages far outweigh those of traditional open back surgery.
