Once a persona has been created for a buyer, it is extremely important to “base your strategy execution on data and customer insights,” said Pattek. “Use what you’ve learned about your buyer and the other data that you have available to you and base your strategy execution on those insights.”

Additionally, viewers were asked about their biggest challenge in aligning your marketing to the buyer’s journey. For 67% of viewers, buyer personas were their biggest challenge. 17% of viewers said they struggle with data driven insight, and another 17% reported having difficulty with content strategy and development.
