Novant Health Launches Convenient, Real-Time Online Appointment Scheduling for New Patients
Winston-Salem, NC (PRWEB) October 09, 2013 -- Novant Health has launched a convenient solution for new patients to schedule an appointment with the click of a button. Previously limited to calling doctor’s offices during business hours, new patients seeking an appointment can now view in real-time a nearby doctor’s availability and schedule their appointment from a computer at any time night or day.
Using this technology, patients can now see the schedules of approximately 450 physicians across the Novant Health network specializing in family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics, and place an appointment directly on a doctor’s schedule.

Through MyNovant.org, new patients may now find Novant Health primary care providers and make an appointment directly on the doctor’s schedule when and where they need it. The online tool, allowing you to search by location, doctor’s name or specialty gives you the ability to find the best physician for you and your family.

Once a part of the Novant Health system, patients will benefit from a variety of recently added innovative and trendsetting features within their electronic health record (EHR) and MyChart, a feature that allows patients to access their medical record online. With MyChart, established patients are able to email their care team, view their health information, request prescription refills, participate in e- and video visits, and directly schedule appointments with their providers anytime, anywhere.
