Astra Women’s Business Alliance to Host Game Changers
Lake Oswego, OR (PRWEB) October 09, 2013 -- Astra Women’s Business Alliance will host a two-day networking event for women business owners on Oct. 15-16 at the Redmond Marriott in Redmond, Washington, and the Microsoft Advanta Campus in Bellevue, Washington. The event will bring together like-minded women, business entrepreneurs and advocates of women business ownership to connect and support each other and create new opportunities for growth.

Construction & Manufacturing Industry Group Meetings, 1:30-4:00 p.m. on Oct. 15 at the Redmond Marriott. A welcome reception sponsored by ICON Information Consultants follows the Industry Group Meetings, 5:00-7:00pm. Oct. 16 events are held on campus at Microsoft, 8:00am-4:30pm and include morning workshops, luncheon and afternoon roundtable matchmaker discussions. Meet with like-minded individuals in both the private and public sectors to gain access to new connections and contracting opportunities. Workshops include: Preparing for the Sales Call, Interactive Session on Business Best Practices and Identifying New Markets: Global & Government. Linda Bernardi, a CEO, technologist and author of “Provoke: The Necessity of Culture of Disruption in Order to Innovate" will give the Keynote Presentation "Change Agents: How to Disrupt in order to Innovate." Matchmaker Roundtables follow the keynote presentation.
Spaces for the event are strictly limited. Preregistration is required. Registration includes access to the Oct. 15 reception at the Redmond Marriott and all Oct. 16 events held on campus at Microsoft. Special tickets are available for women in construction and manufacturing who want to participate at the Industry Group Meetings on Oct. 16.
