LifeStorage Southwest Loop to Host Garage Sale Event.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 11, 2013 -- LifeStorage, Chicago’s premiere residential and commercial self-storage provider, recently announced its upcoming Garage Sale event at the company’s Southwest Loop location.
The event will take place on October 12, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the LifeStorage facility located at 601 Harrison Street, Chicago, Ill 60607. Customers and community members alike are invited to participate in the Garage Sale event by either bringing in unwanted objects to sell, or simply browsing the items of other sellers. There is no cost to participate, and sellers will not be required to obtain any permits or pay vendor fees to sell their goods to any of the event’s attendees. LifeStorage does ask that sellers provide their own tables and chairs.
“This event is a wonderful way for LifeStorage to reach out to the community, as well as provide an added benefit to its clients,” said Shalonda Siler, District Manager for LifeStorage. “The Garage Sale event allows clients to free up extra storage before the winter months. Community members can also take advantage of the event and are invited to bring in any unwanted items they wish to sell. In all, this is a wonderful way to bring people together in a fun, social atmosphere.”
The Garage Sale event is just one in a series of community events sponsored by LifeStorage this year. By holding public events, the company is able to contribute to the community and bring its members together, as well as introduce potential clients to its range of storage services.
“LifeStorage is a proud member of the Chicago community, and we are always looking for ways to engage other community members,” said Siler. “The Garage Sale event is a fun way to get people interacting with one another, and thinking about their storage needs.”
