Bringing the tastes and traditions of Munich straight to Music City, Rhizome Productions and Volkswagen of Cool Springs present Tennessee Volksfest, a two-day celebration of authentic German beer and food on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27.
This festival will be held in Nashville’s Centennial Park and will feature a traditional German bier garden serving seasonal offerings from Franziskaner, Hofbräu, Krombacher and Spaten. Nashville’s own Gerst Haus will serve a variety of German foods and desserts, with plenty of Wursts and Spätzle to go around.
Along with beer, wine, and food, the festival will feature live music, games, and a vintage Volkswagen car show.
Attendance is free, and this is an event for all ages, but you must be 21 or older to consume beer and wine at this event. Beer and food tokens will be sold for $5 each. Beers will be $5 and food will be sold in $5 increments. Carnival games and fun for the kids will be included, as well as a vintage Volkswagen car show, live music, and much more.
