The Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer today announced that the firm’s Associate Estate Planner, Heidi Bitterman, has been appointed to a three-year term as Trustee of the Pasadena Bar Association.

As a Pasadena Bar Association member for seven years, Ms. Bitterman has been selected as one of six new board trustees and will be sworn in during the PBA’s annual Judge of the Year and Officer Installation Dinner on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013.

“Numerous members on our board, as well as past presidents, have taken note of Heidi’s involvement with the association as a member and volunteer,” said Don Schweitzer, founder and partner of the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer, and president of the Pasadena Bar Association. “The board looks for professionals who show potential to be a leader of the association. Heidi is committed and always produces outstanding results on the projects she takes on. There’s a general consensus among the members that Heidi is a rising star. “

“What makes the Pasadena Bar Association special is that it has an engaged and passionate membership that is dedicated to providing professional development, networking opportunities and overall support to the attorneys in the area,” said Heidi Bitterman, associate estate planner, the Law Offices of Donald P. As trustee, Ms. Bitterman will attend all board meetings, have a vote in all matters brought to the board, organize community outreach and events, and continue to be an ambassador of the association—a role integral to the recruitment of new members and improvement of benefits to its members.

As associate attorney at The Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer, Ms. Bitterman specializes in Estate Planning including interim planning for individuals going through a divorce. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.
