Project Kaiser 12: A New Version of Web-based Project Management Software by Triniforce
(PRWEB) October 11, 2013 -- Triniforce has released Project Kaiser version 12, a new version of web-based project management software. It includes a number of improvements in team collaboration, projects’ creation, project tree configuration etc (http://www.projectkaiser.com/).
"Team" tool has been introduced in version 12 as a replacement for "Team Management" dialog. A new tool appears in Projects, Issue Folders and other project parts the same way as other tools: "Gantt chart", "Who is Working on What" etc, and shows users’ contact info such as cellphone number, Skype and office phone number. Another improvement is the way users are added to the team: in version 12 they are dragged from the list of available users using drag&drop.
A "New Project" wizard is another big improvement in the new version. Now it takes a few seconds to create a project with recommended structure and team: new wizard provides quick creation in 2 steps. "We’ve found out that every time when the user creates a project he follows the same steps, and we can make this process much easier by providing a wizard," says Michael Saygachenko, Triniforce CTO.. At the first step the project name and layout are specified: the user can choose layout from predefined templates and customize if needed. At the second step the user specifies the team by dragging members into the team from the list of available users.
The new version also includes the number of minor improvements. Maxim Geraskyn, Triniforce CEO, says, "Normally we use short-cycle releases that satisfy our customers’ demands, and we get fast feedback on new features. Besides a few relatively big new features each build includes the number of minor improvements generally based on customer's requests and error reports. For example, the users liked the new "Who Is Working On What" tool which has been introduced in version 11, and we had some feedback on it. Finally we improved it in version 12, and now the tool looks much better with user’s pictures, more improved layout and filtering mechanism."
Other improvements in version 12 include the following: "default values" tool; "milestones as tasks" behaviour; possibility to restore deleted comments, attachments, users and other files; checking client access right on client’s side, and others. Number of defects were fixed as well.
