Beasley & Henley Interior Design Completes Design for Hines @1377 Multi-family project in Atlanta
Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) October 10, 2013 -- Beasley & Henley Interior Design completed the new @1377 urban infill apartment complex for Hines’ new multi-family division. The luxury for-rent project is located in the trendy Atlanta neighborhood of Brookhaven. Beasley & Henley space planned the amenity areas, specified all materials and designed the FF&E package.
The design of @1377 continues Beasley & Henley’s high-volume of multi-family projects in this vigorous market segment.
The interior design team, led by Principal Designer Troy Beasley, planned the interiors to appeal to the dual generations of Gen X and Gen Y.
“Our goal was to create a very social, interactive and dynamic experience in the amenity areas,” says Beasley. “These generational groups look for openness in a highly social, wired-in setting. We had a great time creating that for them.”
The design team space planned an open amenity area while creating specific personalities within that space. The largest space is the Cyber Café. Its focal point is the three curved built-in benches with custom internet tables and side seating that is mobile for flexibility. The bar area was created as a coffee bar with some appliances for small parties. The casual gathering area in the main space welcomes people with soft sofas and large, comfortable chairs.
Beasley & Henley created @1377’s personality to be modern, urban, chic and vibrant. The color palette is greys and whites with accents of apple green, and pops of red and orange. The cyber café includes the tongue-in-check selection of wallpaper made of recycled newspaper. Furnishings and art work are very modern and the project’s lighting is fresh and hip. In one area the flooring includes porcelain tiles that mimic the look of concrete, and in another the flooring is naked brushed, wide plank oak, contrasting the modern fabrics and finishes.
Beasley & Henley also designed two apartments at the project with comfortable, transitional interiors.
@1377 is a 215-unit, four-story multifamily development located on 3.3 acres in Brookhaven, a highly sought-after residential community and one of Atlanta's most established and affluent neighborhoods. The project is on Dresden Drive, a popular street containing a mix of upscale residential, office and retail uses, including several home-grown restaurants, shops and an urban grocer.
