Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) October 11, 2013
License Protection Corp. (“LPC”) announced today that it has expanded its operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by offering its license and legal plans to all license holders in the State of Texas. Effective October 15, 2013, LPC will be accepting membership applications from anyone who has been issued a professional or occupational license or permit, or is certified by a Texas licensing board or agency.
When contacted, Ray Galvan, Jr., Founder and CEO, confirmed “We are excited to offer our full range legal benefits to anyone who has been issued a professional or occupational license by a state licensing board or agency in Texas. Our primary goal is to ensure that our members maintain their license in good standing. We do so by providing them with legal representation anytime the government initiates enforcement action against their license.” He added, “the reality of acquiring any license is that the state agency that issued it, also has the power to take it away. Therefore, it only makes sense to protect yourself, your license, and your livelihood.”
Mr. Galvan noted that healthcare professionals endure the most scrutiny from the general public, and therefore have the most incidence of formal complaints issued against them. He stated, “More than 16,700 complaints were filed against Texas nurses with the Board of Nursing in 2012. And of those nurses who were called before the board, more than 90% of them did not have legal representation. LPC can make a difference in protecting someone's career and their license."
