Matrix Solutions Announces Document Storage Module in the Next Release of Their Media CRM & Sales Analytics Software System

New features included in the release are Matrix Locker™, a document storage module at an enterprise level, shared accounts and enhanced reporting.

Matrix Solutions, the leading provider of Media CRM and Sales Analytics software, announces the new features included in the next release of their industry leading solution. Matrix Locker™, a shared document storage module at an enterprise level, will be part of the product release enabling content to be stored within the system and attached to applicable records. Additional features of the release that were designed to help drive operational sales efficiencies include shared accounts and enhanced reporting that is keyword search driven. The release will be fully deployed to current Matrix customers on October 26, 2013.

Matrix Locker, our new document storage module, allows users to save e-mails as activities with attachments such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF documents. The Matrix Locker, where a user can download or upload files, is available within Account, Agency, Contact, Deal, and Activity locations. Matrix Locker users will have the option to create and manage personal folder hierarchies, customize file storage types and to send files via a unique generated URL to anyone within or outside of the Matrix system.

Shared accounts enables Managers to grant multiple people access to one account and to set limits on the duration of access, such as for planned absences like vacation. The shared accounts functionality was motivated by our customers with digital properties; their sales workflow is to have more than one Account Executive assigned to an account, i.e. one Account Executive selling radio, one TV and one digital. Account Executives who share an account will be able to manage all contacts, activities, deals, and address information. They will also be able to view revenue as it is reflected in the Traffic and Billing System(s).

Additional features in the new release include:

  •     Keyword search filters, if you are searching for a report on particular account or agency
  •     The ability to delete leads or prospects even if they have a contact affiliated with them
  •     Editing capabilities to completed activities, in order to add additional information discovered    after the activity occurred
  •     The ability to set Deal Management page as default home page
