Every year, in America, the average life expectancy continues to climb higher, even amidst the prevalence of disease and other serious medical issues. While the vast majority of that can be attributed to treatment and the ability to diagnose certain conditions, prevention has begun to play a major part in health care. Many physicians believe that these preventative ideals begin with diet, exercise, and healthy rest.
Consumers are now exercising far later into life, and are also being more conscientious of the things they consume as a whole. By integrating a healthy lifestyle with modern medical treatments and tests, doctors have seen a tremendous improvement in the quality of life for baby boomers. “Leading Edge”, hosted by Jimmy Johnson, will be working with multiple organizations that are providing tools and products to aid in this movement for the creation of segments aiming to educate on how to live a longer, healthier life.
“Leading Edge” is programming developed by an award winning production team for Public Television. The show is hosted by noted sports personality Jimmy Johnson.
“Leading Edge” is not associated with PBS, and is directly distributed to Public Television. For more information email info(at)leadingedgeseries(dot)com or go to http://www.leadingedgeseries.com.
