ASPG Furthers Insight into ICSF and Cryptography with Latest CryptoMon Release
Naples, FL (PRWEB) October 17, 2013 -- Enterprise and Big Data software provider Advanced Software Products Group (ASPG) has released the latest version of its popular CryptoMon software, providing greater flexibility to end users and greater insights into the way that cryptography and ICSF are implemented on user mainframes.
The latest release provides several enhancements to existing options, such as CFB (cipher feedback) encryption support, support for new digital signature services, and the display of cryptographic status when z/OS is running in a VM virtual machine. The software retains all previous features, such as the ability to see incorrectly protected cryptographic keys, certificates that will soon be expiring, and other security-related events that otherwise go unreported in ICSF.
According to Tom Andrews, Vice President of Technology at ASPG, the latest release of CryptoMon provides users with a powerful software tool to aid their cryptography implementations. “The z/OS cryptographic services and ICSF are extremely powerful engines – but to a large degree they leave users with no way of knowing what’s going on under the hood,” said Andrews. “This version of CryptoMon takes the ease-of-use and the insights that the software has always had and just makes it even more powerful. Proper encryption is too important to guess at – and CryptoMon removes that guesswork.”
Interested parties may read more about CryptoMon, ICSF monitoring, and ASPG itself on the ASPG website, and free trials of their enterprise software are also available.
