“This event offers a forum to meet others in the JAMF community – with the launch iOS 7, it’s an exciting time for IT teams that are managing a fleet of Apple devices.” – Ben Greiner, President and Founder of Forget Computers

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 14, 2013

The JAMF Nation User Conference is the premier gathering of Apple enterprise technologies, attended by hundreds of administrators responsible for managing many of the largest deployments of Apple technologies worldwide. Members of this community generously share their knowledge and discuss best practices.

Seven years ago, Forget Computers aligned with JAMF Software in order to create Robot Cloud, a hosted Apple device management system. Robot Cloud is a robust build-out of the JSS framework, with additional custom tools — like Device Scout, an intelligent web browser that is built into Robot Cloud — that enable IT administrators to work smarter when managing their Mac and iOS devices. Robot Cloud’s time-saving features focus on providing Mac and iOS management tools to organizations with 1 to 100 Apple devices (typically those without their own JSS).

While the Forget Computers team is in Minneapolis, they will participate in hands-on lab environments, community presentations, and developer training seminars with other IT professionals. They plan to return with a wealth of knowledge to share with customers and prospects, just in time to support their 2014 mobile device management strategies.

Apple took several leaps forward with iOS 7 in providing organizations more options to manage corporate-owned data, whether it resides on or is being exchanged between iOS devices. Besides enhanced security features, there are also powerful new ways to configure and deploy devices, and purchase and distribute in-house and third party applications.

Casper 9 gives its users full access to all of the new iOS 7 enhancements. Forget Computers recently upgraded Robot Cloud to Casper 9, giving Robot Cloud customers the full advantage of these new features for their own device management strategies.
