Breakthrough Technology Gives Mobile Apps a Communication Shortcut, Virtually Eliminates Server Relays

Bit Action, Inc., a technology leader in direct device-to-device connectivity, was awarded the “Most Disruptive Technology” in 2013 by the Silicon Valley-China Wireless Technology Association. Bit Action’s patent pending technology enables applications to create direct connections with other applications in almost any network environment, including commercial grade network address translators (NAT)s which are common in mobile networks. This enables application developers to greatly improve quality of service, reduce network bandwidth, and enhance service security for peer to peer and machine to machine applications.

By taking a cryptographic approach to traversing NATs, Bit Action is able to achieve the highest direct connectivity in the industry. “Our world-class team of mathematicians, cryptographers, quantum physicists and computer scientists have solved what was thought to be an unsolvable puzzle,” said Anton Sabev, Chairman and CEO of Bit Action, Inc. “We provide direct peer-to-peer connectivity, even through mobile carriers’ commercial-grade NATs. Our solution is 3x to 4x more effective than the current ICE+STUN implementations. We are changing the economics and the network architecture.”

“Bit Action’s technology clearly disrupts the mobile market by enabling new P2P App and experience for mobile users,” said, Joseph Wei, Chair of the SVC Wireless Innovation Showcase Contest, “that’s why they were selected by both the judges and the audience for the ‘Most Disruptive Award’. I wish them the same success as some of our previous award winners in market adoption.”

“It’s a great honor to be recognized by the SVC leadership,” said Sabev. “BitJet One™, our first product, unshackles fellow developers who want to create innovative applications that demand real-time network performance and high-quality direct connections, regardless of network topology. We have slaved on every aspect of BitJet, so the award is deeply appreciated by the entire Bit Action team.”

App developers who are building peer to peer applications or machine to machine services can start testing BitJet One by emailing info(at)bitaction(dot)com. BitJet One easily integrates into iOS, Andorid, PC, and Mac applications .
