What really makes the Animator unique for children is that they can replace the stuffed animal at any time, totally changing the look and character of the toy.

What if you could bring your stuffed animals to life at home, school, or anywhere else? Well, now you can. The LilyBean Animator from LilyBean Productions will entertain, educate, and energize children like nothing you've seen before.
The Animator allows you to sit back and watch a show, listen and read along with your favorite stories, or interact with the character while playing some of your favorite games, both new and old. The Animator, along with custom LilyBean software, also allows you to create, record, and playback your own shows and stories.
"What really makes the Animator unique for children is that they can replace the stuffed animal at any time, totally changing the look and character of the toy." stated Gary Erickson, founder of LilyBean Productions and inventor of the Animator.
Another key characteristic of the Animator, according to Erickson, is that many of the units can run simultaneously off of one computer or laptop. "When you combine several Animators together, you're putting on a show. The moving and dancing characters, combined with songs, music, and sound effects really grabs the attention of the kids. Add interactive games and stories, and you have the perfect showcase and educational system for schools, churches, daycares, or any business that caters to children."
The Animator has gotten the attention of one big fan when it comes to the world of stuffed animals, Maxine Clark, founder of Build-A-Bear Workshop. Clark stated " I like the potential of what Gary has developed. Creating new and imaginative, healthy and safe play possibilities for children with their stuffed animals is a great objective. I look forward to seeing this come to fruition with the support of Kickstarter investors!"
The Animator stand that holds the control unit and the stuffed animal is a small side table approximately 30 inches in height. The Animator runs on a USB connection with your computer running the LilyBean Software. Four stepper motors located in the control unit control the character movements. When not in use, the Animator is a great showcase for your child's favorite stuffed animal.
The Animator campaign on Kickstarter began on October 7th and will run for 33 days. Funding on Kickstarter is all-or-nothing, and LilyBean must meet their goal of $15,000 by the deadline or they will not receive any funding.
