"Leading Edge" with Jimmy Johnson is Developing New Content on the Expansion of Public Transportation
(PRWEB) October 12, 2013 -- Burning something, to extract energy from it, is one of our oldest forms of human technology. The industrial revolution of the brought this burning technology into its height of use, replacing the horse as the primary source energy for transportation. The 21st Century is on the brink of doing away with the need to burn anything for energy as another revolution is beginning.
Since the advent of the automobile, the by-product and waste created from the transportation industry has grown exponentially, and is negatively affecting the planet's ecosystem. The "Leading Edge" series with host Jimmy Johnson will be looking into how the automobile industry has changed the environment, and the steps being taken to curb such trends.
With new technologies, the inefficiencies of our power consumption are coming to an end. Mass transit, specifically, is leading the way in replacing fossil fuels with clean energy. Electric powered buses are already being tested that recharge from underground flows of current at stops along its route.
"Leading Edge" is happy to announce that they will be partnering with manufacturers and environmental specialists who are instrumental in these major changes, specifically to help educate the public on the important advances being made in the transportation industry.
