Internationally Recognized Plastic Surgeon Dr. Williams Publishes Definitive Guide on Nose Jobs
Latham, NY (PRWEB) October 21, 2013 -- With straight talk and a knack for explaining the process in easily accessible terms, Dr. Edwin Williams has published the definitive guide on nose-shaping surgery entitled, Rhinoplasty - Everything You Need to Know about Fixing and Reshaping Your Nose. http://www.williamsfacialsurgery.com/facial_restoration_complexion_services.php/2/37/Rhinoplasty_Nasal_Reconstruction/Rhinoplasty_Nasal_Reconstruction
Having performing over 3,500 such surgeries in his medical career, Dr. Williams has mastered this complicated yet common procedure and helped thousands of patients decide whether or not this procedure is for them.
Often working pro bono for domestic violence patients, Williams is donating the proceeds from the sale of his book to the FACE TO FACE program http://www.aafprs.org/patient/humanitarian/pa_ffinter.html the humanitarian and educational surgical exchange program conducted under the auspices of the Educational and Research Foundation for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS Foundation).

In the book, Williams, an internationally recognized and respected Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, answers the most frequently asked questions about rhinoplasty with the skill and intelligence of an accomplished surgeon and the compassion and understanding gained in his twenty-one years of successful practice.
“Nothing has a greater impact on how you look (and feel) than the size and shape of your nose,” says Williams. “My book explains everything you need to know about rhinoplasty surgery. I take the stress and anxiety out of Rhinoplasty so you can decide if a nose job is right for you.”
The book features more than 50 before and after photos from patients including Sonya of Albany, NY.
“When I was fifteen years old, I was depressed and embarrassed by the size of my nose,” says Sonya. “I begged my mother daily to have a rhinoplasty. She said she would give me permission if I researched the surgery and prices and found a doctor. So I hand wrote letters to all the doctors in the area. Only one replied to me, Dr. Williams. He performed the surgery, and I’ve never been happier. It’s now eleven years later and I’ve referred many people, who were all happy with the results.”

Dr. Edwin Williams’ journey in the field of rhinoplasty began during his surgical training, where he became more and more interested in facial trauma and the reconstructive aspects of facial plastic surgery.
Over the next several years, he developed a fascination with the reconstruction and aesthetic aspects of the nose and decided to pursue a fellowship whose primary focus involved rhinoplasty and nasal reconstruction. The complexity of nasal reconstruction surgery and its various forms continues to challenge his thinking on a daily basis.
The profound impact this seemingly simple procedure can have on a patient’s self-esteem and functionality continues to intrigue and inspire him, and, as such, he finds this work extraordinarily fulfilling.
