Saint Jude Retreats to Attend NACDL's 6th Annual Drug Defenses Conference
Amsterdam, New York (PRWEB) October 11, 2013 -- Saint Jude Retreats as of today, October 11, 2013, is proud to announce they will have host an exhibitor booth at the NACDL's 6th Annual Drug Defenses Conference in Las Vegas Nevada on November 21-22, 2013. Representing the organization will be Susanne Herrmann, Business Development Director and Faith Moore, Family Consultant. The purpose of the conference is to help educate lawyers and legal attorney regarding new drugs that are continually entering the market and underground scene, and providing them with an avenue of better understanding how to defend their clients in legal cases and throughout trials.
The Saint Jude Retreats hopes in the near future to branch out and work with a new area of business such as lawyers and legal attorneys to educate them on an alternative program to traditional rehab and treatment that can serve as an alternative to incarceration. The Saint Jude Retreats exhibitor booth will have different informative pieces, a brochure that explains the “Think Differently” campaign, and prizes and giveaways.
Herrmann hopes to impact as many lives as possible through her relationships with lawyers and defense attorneys and holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Centenary College of NJ. In addition to Herrmann, Faith Moore, a Family Consultant Representative will be attending the conference as well. Moore holds a Juris Doctorate from the Widner University School of Law in Wilmington, DE.
Herrmann quotes, "As criminal defense attorney's offer alternatives to incarceration in the court room for their clients facing drug charges, they are probably not even aware that there is an alternative to 12 step rehab programs. That is why I am so excited to speak directly with them at the conference to inform them about the Saint Jude Program which has an abstinence rate that is 12 times higher than 12 step treatment programs. Saint Jude offers the best chance for their clients to move on to becoming a productive member of society."
The Saint Jude Retreats Program helps substance users overcome alcohol and drugs through the science of Neuroplasticity, and a self-changing process called Cognitive Behavioral Education. At Saint Jude’s a substance user will be taught self-empowerment tools to help them let go of negatives aspects of the past, and amplify their positive characteristics to form greater successes in the future.
