Trintech, a leading global provider of integrated software solutions for the Last Mile of Finance™, announced today that its record-to-report solution, Cadency, is a finalist for the Client Software Product of the Year award presented by The British Accountancy Awards.
“We’re honored to make the short list for the British Accountancy Awards, which is a reflection of our focus on helping clients to simplify the record-to-report process,” said Trintech CEO Paul Byrne. “The Trintech team consists of accounting and finance professionals. We have been in our customers’ shoes and understand the intense pressure that they operate under, particularly during the close period. Our goal with Cadency is to tie together all the pieces of the record-to-report process and provide greater visibility that ultimately facilitates collaboration across an organization’s finance functions.”
Cadency is a unique solution for the entire record-to-report process, managing balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, governance and risk and financial disclosures across the entire close process. It gives accountants, CFOs and controllers a single version of the truth in a web-based console that monitors real time progress, prioritizes activities with workflow and automation rules and ensures the accuracy of their results. Cadency is a SaaS-based application, and includes a mobile solution that is currently available on iOS devices.
The Client Software Product of the Year award is bestowed upon the product that enables new ways of working, offers tangible benefits to customers, and delivers a customer satisfaction and commercial success. A panel of judges comprising key figures from the accounting industry will select the final winners based on the product’s improvement in areas such as customer care, design quality, functionality and technical innovation.
Now in their third year, The British Accountancy Awards are intended to reflect the latest accomplishments in the profession. Winners for the 2013 awards will be unveiled at a Gala Award Dinner on November 20 in London. A panel of judges from the accounting industry such as PwC, KPMG, BDO, Baker Tilly and professional associations such as ACCA, ICAEW and press such as The Financial Times selects the winners.
