So When Is A Front Door Not A Door?
Dewsbury, West Yorkshire (PRWEB UK) 16 October 2013 -- Sounds like the feed-in line for a bad joke, but the clear answer is – when it won’t open or shut!
Living over a thousand feet up in the Pennines, the weather can sometimes be quite inclement, with horizontal rain featuring in the colder months. Ordinary hardwood doors can only take the punishment for so long before the contrast between heat inside and cold outside causes them to swell, then shrink and warp.
Once that has happened doors soon deteriorate. Taking the doors off and sanding the edges down to make them fit when they swell is only a temporary solution. Then when they shrink again in the heat there are draughts to contend with. What’s more, constant pressure on the doors eventually causes any double glazed panels to fracture and mist up.
It’s a bit like a constant game of tennis – new doors every few years!
Classic Composites offer the doors that everyone else takes for granted – they open when the handle is turned and close with ease no matter what the weather or location! Doors will cease to be a subject for heated discussion across the UK and will become the quiet (and draughtproof) guardians of security instead.
