MidAtlantic Farm Credit will be awarding $18,000 in scholarships to those who plan on or are currently continuing their education as full-time students at a college, university, or technical school. The applications, along with all required supplemental materials, are due by January 17, 2014.

These scholarships are available to high school seniors or those currently enrolled in a two or four year program. The applicants or their parents or guardians must be members of MidAtlantic Farm Credit to be eligible. The selections will be based on the applicant’s record of academic success and extracurricular activity participation.

Bob Frazee, CEO of MidAtlantic Farm Credit, is proud of this strong program and understands the importance of higher education. "We are excited to once again be able to provide students with some financial assistance as they further their education,” says Frazee. “These students are our country’s future and we are happy to do what we can to help them succeed in any field they choose to pursue.”

The scholarships will be awarded at the Annual Stockholder Meetings in April. Applications can be found in any MidAtlantic Farm Credit office or online at http://www.mafc.com/scholarships.
