Custom Jeweler Designs $35,000 in Jewelry for De La Ghetto
New York (PRWEB) October 14, 2013 -- Reggaeton singer and rapper De La Ghetto turned to Avianne & Co., an elite custom designer jeweler, to produce his latest jewelry set, a project that took two weeks to complete and cost more than $35,000.
Avianne & Co. recently presented De La Ghetto with two Jesus head pendants that feature micro pave settings, two rope chains and a custom cross.
The custom cross that De La Ghetto ordered features 75-carat gold-colored diamonds in a 14-karat yellow gold setting. The piece weighs about 6.7 grams.
The 14-karat yellow gold Jesus head pendants are adorned with white diamonds using the micro pave technique, a little-known method of intricately setting small gemstones in fine jewelry. The technique involves placing diamonds so closely together that they are “kissing each other.”
