Metairie Park Country Day School Senior Jackson Jansen Selected as 2014 National Achievement Scholarship Program Semifinalist
Metairie, LA (PRWEB) November 01, 2013 -- Metairie Park Country Day School senior Jackson Jansen has been selected as a Semifinalist in the 50th annual National Achievement® Scholarship Program. More than 160,000 Black American high school juniors from across the United States were considered for the 2014 National Achievement® Scholarship Program when they took the 2012 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Semifinalists are selected from the highest-scoring program entrants throughout the United States. Approximately 1,600 seniors were designated as Semifinalists. All Achievement Scholar awardees will be selected from the Finalist group on the basis of their abilities, accomplishments and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
Metairie Park Country Day School is a private, independent, non-denominational, Pre-K through grade 12 school in the New Orleans area.
