OFS Brands Promotes Ryan Menke to Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Huntingburg, IN (PRWEB) October 15, 2013 -- OFS Brands, a leading manufacturer of contract furniture and logistics provider, announced today that the company has promoted Ryan Menke to senior vice president of sales and marketing. Menke will be responsible for managing all sales and marketing functions for OFS Brands which goes to market under the OFS, First Office Loewenstein, Carolina and Styline Logistics brands. Menke previously served as senior vice president of supply chain for OFS Brands.

Menke began his career with OFS Brands in 2002 as the vice president of transportation where he oversaw OFS Brands' specialized furniture transportation company, Styline Logistics. Under Menke’s leadership, Styline grew from one terminal in Indiana to one of the largest specialized furniture carriers in the nation.
From 2004 to 2006 Menke assumed responsibilities for OFS Brands' raw materials manufacturing operations, as well as supply chain operations. In 2006 he moved to NC to manage the acquisition and integration of Carolina Business Furniture. In 2008, he helped OFS Brands integrate Loewenstein into the family of companies. Since 2008, Ryan has served as the senior vice president of supply chain, and he was also responsible for Styline Logistics and OFS Brands' Seating Division.
“As Ryan guided OFS Brands through new brand acquisitions, he also saw an opportunity to reshape the operational culture of OFS Brands by hooking up best practices across the company and all of its locations. Company officials also relied on Menke’s engineering expertise in product development.
“During the past five years, Ryan oversaw the engineering for the largest run of new product launches in the history of OFS Brands,” said Phil Mehringer, executive director of marketing of OFS Brands. “His practical, hands-on knowledge of what it really takes to bring a product to the marketplace will be an invaluable asset to our sales and marketing teams.
Prior to working with OFS Brands, Menke worked in new business development for a furniture dealer in St Louis where he was able to develop a solid understanding of sales and operations strategies at the dealer level, as well as the critical role of all stakeholders in the specifying process. Menke earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Evansville.
