New VHA Inc. Comprehensive Cost and Margin Improvement Solution Helps Hospitals Achieve Significant Cost Savings

VHA Inc., the national health care network, announced a new, wide-reaching Comprehensive Cost and Margin Improvement solution to help hospitals and health systems across the U.S. address rising costs across the enterprise, including labor resources.

Labor, supplies and services account for nearly 90 percent of most hospital budgets, with approximately 60 percent allocated to labor. Through VHA’s Comprehensive Cost and Margin Improvement solution, labor costs are reduced through a combination of improved productivity and maximized value for employee compensation and benefits. Additionally, VHA works side-by-side with hospitals to reduce supply and service costs and improve operational performance – effectively addressing 90 percent of the hospital’s total costs.
