White Hot Events Selected to Design USTA Jr. Team Tennis National Championships
Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) October 16, 2013 -- Phoenix-based White Hot Events has been selected to design and produce the 2013 USTA Jr. Team Tennis National Championships being held in Cayce, South Carolina October 19-21st and 26th-28th.
White Hot Events has a long history of designing and producing large-scale events. While based in Phoenix, Arizona, their team is often selected to travel nationwide and produce imaginative events that require knowledge beyond “making things pretty.” The team is led by Erika Watson, a 17-year industry veteran who has been praised by the media and celebrities alike as the “modern day MacGuyver in stilletos.”
The USTA Jr. Team Tennis National Championships features the top 16 teams from across the country. Two tournament sites will be utilized, including a two-story 11,000 sq. ft clubhouse and a two-story 4,200 sq. ft clubhouse.
“I am so honored to take on this event again,” says Erika Watson, Principal Designer and Owner of White Hot Events. “Working with USTA is always a pleasure and they truly understand the importance of creating an experience, rather than just “making it pretty.’ We spend months working in unison with their internal teams to bring to life a special event that all will remember. It is easy to forget that we are “working” when we get to do it with great friends!”
This year’s highlights include a Parade of Flags from the teams represented; the tournament Player’s Hospitality Tent; and the Championship “gem” – the Player’s Party. With games galore, balloons for days, a nearly 200lb candy “station,” and almost 300 young players, the White Hot Events team barely has 72 hours back in Phoenix before returning to do it all over again…for another 300 young players – this time just a few years older!
