Interview Highlights the Power of Doing Good in Both the Real and Virtual Worlds

CURE International today announced that Joel Worrall has appeared as the inaugural guest on BetterWorldians, a radio show on October 10, 2013 (archive). BetterWorldians is a weekly radio show broadcasted on the Internet over VoiceAmerica. The show is dedicated to sharing the stories of individuals and groups who are making the world a better place. BetterWorldians Radio is hosted by Ray, MarySue and Gregory Hansell, the family team that created the popular Facebook game, A Better World, a game that rewards players for doing good deeds in the virtual world, while helping to raise money and awareness for charities in the real world. Over 1.5 million people have performed over 8.5 million good deeds in the game.

The Facebook game challenged its players to do one million good deeds in exchange for the funds that enabled ten children to walk for the first time. Their last campaign reached a staggering six million good deeds performed and allocated more funds to treat children afflicted with hydrocephalus.
