ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard which defines how to establish an independently assessed and certified information security management system.
Of the varying levels of certification, ISO/IEC 27001 is the most stringent for information security, guaranteeing that appropriate controls and risk treatments are in place to defend against potential data system vulnerabilities, and requires assessment by a rigorous, independent audit.
The certification recognizes ccapps’ ability to secure all financial and confidential data, so minimizing the likelihood of it being accessed illegally or without permission.
