The event is being offered to promote the physical fitness of firefighters and is the last stop on the 2013 tour. Firefighters from around the world will be competing for the World Championship Title. We are expecting competitors from Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Poland and Slovenia.
While you must be a firefighter to take part in the competition, the public is encouraged to come and watch as the participants navigate the Challenge course or “The toughest two minutes in sports,” as it’s frequently known.
The Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge World Challenge XXII will be held at the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower located on the Las Vegas Strip. The Wildcard days run Tuesday, October 22nd through Friday, October 25th from 9am-4pm. Individual and Team Finals begin Saturday, October 26th at 11am.
