LED Strip Lights Co. Respond to Report Suggesting Lighting is Most Popular Energy Saving Technology
(PRWEB UK) 16 October 2013 -- Lux Magazine reports on October 3 in the article titled ‘Lighting is Most Popular Energy-Saving Technology’ that a new report published by Bloomberg has found that lighting is the most regularly commissioned technology that saves energy. The report, whose results were found from interviews with 448 buyers throughout the UK and Europe, found that participants commissioned 496 projects involving lighting in the first six months of 2013. The report also discovered that 9 out of 10 large businesses had commissioned an energy efficient lighting project.
The report also researched into companies’ expectations on the amount of time it would take to make their money back on their energy efficient lighting investment. They found that 62% of small and medium sized businesses expected a time period of three years, in contrast to 14% of public sector organisations who expected to make their money back in the same time scale. The majority of larger businesses expected the time scales to be between three and five years.
