Association for Financial Professionals and Peloton Launch Financial Planning & Analysis Roundtable Series
Bethesda, MD and Boston, MA (PRWEB) October 17, 2013 -- The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), the professional society for treasury and finance, and Peloton, a nationally recognized leader in Enterprise Performance Management and Business Analytics, are pleased to announce the launch of the quarterly Financial Planning & Analysis roundtable series. This series will provide a unique forum for executive level FP&A professionals to network, discuss industry issues, and share best practices. The events will be co-facilitated by Brian Kalish, AFP’s Finance Practice lead and Philip Peck, Peloton’s Finance Transformation Practice lead.
"Education in corporate financial planning and analysis is an important component of AFP's commitment to advancing the finance profession worldwide," said Jim Kaitz, AFP's president and CEO. "The new roundtable series will allow executives to learn from their peers and also lets participants earn continuing education credits."
“To be a strategic business partner, it is essential for Finance to adopt FP&A best practices and enabling technology,” said Guy Daniello, Founder and CEO of Peloton. “The Financial Planning & Analysis Roundtable series offers a unique forum for industry FP&A thought leaders to have focused face-to-face peer interaction where they can explore and discuss challenges, share real-world experiences, and take best practices to the next level.”
The first roundtable event, which is available exclusively by invitation, will be held on Tuesday, October 29th at the 2013 AFP Annual Conference at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino: http://an13.afponline.org. Additional roundtable events will be held in various locations across the Unites States beginning in the first quarter of 2014.
