City of Hope and the Tri-State Labor & Management Council have honored labor and employment lawyer Stuart W. Davidson, Esq. of Willig, Williams & Davidson with the Spirit of Life® Award.

Davidson, a partner with Willig, Williams & Davidson, was presented with the award on Sept. 19, 2013 during a gala reception at Tendenza in Philadelphia. All proceeds from the evening benefited City of Hope, a national research, educational and treatment institution for cancer, HIV, diabetes and more.

City of Hope, which has a fundraising office in Philadelphia, recognized Davidson for his lifetime of achievement, specifically his dedication to philanthropic activities. Davidson is the third Willig, Williams & Davidson attorney to receive the Spirit of Life® Award, which is the highest honor that City of Hope bestows on individuals who effect change through a lifetime of professional and philanthropic success. “I am thrilled to join my colleagues in supporting City of Hope in the battle against cancer and other life-threatening diseases,” Davidson said. “The money we raise enables the organization to continue transforming cutting-edge research into treatments and prevention strategies that save lives.”

Davidson was honored with Michael J. Hanlon, a shareholder in the Labor and Employment section of the Philadelphia office of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC.
