Charleston, SC (PRWEB) October 16, 2013
Recently, licensed broker, Josephine Traina, has seen positive statistics that buyers and sellers in the Charleston, South Carolina area should be aware of. Traina urges those who are interested in selling their homes to not wait until after the holidays; now is the best time to sell a home.
The Charleston market data continues to represent a strong and healthy one. Traina has noticed that the inventory seems to be stabilizing; overall 4% down from this time last year. New listings are up 17% with some areas in greater demand than others. “I find it interesting that areas of strong sales are also those with strong ‘new’ listings taken; proving that activity breeds activity as many sellers are still waiting and come to market when activity rises in their area,” said Josephine Traina, Broker Associate with Carolina One Real Estate.
Charleston’s bank re-sales are off 22% and short sales are down 28% from 2012. Those interested can expect banks to tighten up on their losses as the market continues to improve. Developers and builders are racing to bring their product to market in all Charleston Real Estate areas. “Having Real Estate inventory for the spring 2014 season will be a key component when determining the overall resale market trend,” said Traina.
Constantly keeping up-to-date with the local Real Estate market and trends is a way to distinguish the best Realtors® in town and always stands as a priority for Traina as numbers are always changing.
