Grandson of the famous 19th century Turkish writer Ahmet Mithat Efendi writes first published English novel “Love Beyond Time,” as a visionary tale for adults.
Mehmet Tanberk’s first novel takes place in the beginning years of the fourth dynasty kingdom in Egypt, the construction of the pyramids and first crusade in Anatolia.
“The dialogues are not design to express the current story but refers the timeless facts,” Tanberk said.

Mehmet Tanberk resides in Istanbul, Turkey as a retired after 25 years as an assistant general manager at a pharmaceutical company. He is married with three children, three grandchildren. Tanberk’s grandfather, the well-known Turkish writer, Ahmet Mithat Efendi, wrote more than 100 novels and was the founder of many Turkish daily newspapers and teacher of “Darüşşafaka” an orphan school and college.
