Minimally Invasive Sinus Surgery May Help Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Newport Beach, CA (PRWEB) October 17, 2013 -- Sinusitis is an infection that millions of Americans suffer from each year, and many of them deal with their own set of unique symptoms. For many, Sinusitis brings along the onset of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Those who suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome feel exhausted, all day and all night, no matter how much sleep they get. It can feel like a hopeless disorder as many of the traditional treatments for Sinusitis will not address the symptoms associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Dr. Kevin Sadati, an ENT surgeon who is based out of Newport Beach, is here to change all of that. He now offers the balloon sinuplasty procedure, a minimally-invasive procedure that cures sinusitis for the patient and can eliminate the symptoms associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
"Sleep deprivation and fatigue can make a person absolutely miserable. Add these symptoms on top of the already inconvenient and uncomfortable Sinusitis symptoms, and you have a frustrated patient on your hands. I have found that the balloon sinuplasty offers many benefits for my Orange County patients, and has seemed to help those who suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome," explained Dr. Kevin Sadati.
Common symptoms associated with Chronic Sinusitis include fatigue, sinus pressure and pain, congestion, headaches, irritated eyes and coughing. Traditionally, prescription medications, antihistamines and pain relievers were used to help people cope with the symptoms of Sinusitis. The other option was sinus surgery, which many patients wanted to avoid. Recognizing that coping with the symptoms is not enough, Dr. Kevin Sadati trained in the balloon sinuplasty procedure and now offers it for his patients.
The balloon sinuplasty requires Dr. Kevin Sadati to use a small catheter and insert it into the patient's nose. Once the catheter is in place, a balloon-like device is blown up in the nose in order to clear the nasal passageways and eliminate the Sinusitis infection. The blocked sinus is instantly opened up, and patients find that the symptoms of sinusitis disappear immediately after the procedure.
Many patients report back to Dr. Kevin Sadati that they immediately sleep better and feel more energized after the procedure is complete. Patients find that their breathing is improved, which allows them to feel better and complete more tasks throughout the day. In addition, they aren't brought down by the uncomfortable symptoms of Sinusitis. It helps to improve their physical health while also improving their psychological health and emotional outlook on life.
This minimally invasive surgery is now available at Dr. Kevin Sadati's Newport Beach practice. Dr. Kevin Sadati also is an expert facial plastic surgeon who has been working with patients in order to improve their appearances for the last 10 years.
"My goal is to help all of my patients look better and feel better, giving them the chance to enjoy their best life," notes Dr. Kevin Sadati.
