Brandon Daniels, President of Managed Services at Clutch Group, to lead a panel discussion on the impact and strategy of in-house privilege around the globe

Clutch Group, an organization dedicated to delivering the professional services for law, is sponsoring the 2013 Electronic Discovery Institute (EDI) Leadership Summit in Santa Monica, California, from the 15th-17th of October.

The EDI Leadership Summit brings together decision-makers and experts from across the legal and technology industries to discuss challenges, opportunities, and best practices in the eDiscovery space.

Brandon Daniels, President of Managed Services at Clutch Group, will moderate a panel discussion titled “Perspectives on Global Privilege” this morning. The panel, as set out by EDI, will “explore the evolving nature of client and work product privileges across the globe and examine strategies and techniques to identify privilege and protect information from inadvertent disclosure in cross-border litigation.”

“We are excited to be supporting the Summit,” Mr. Daniels said, “and I am very much looking forward to the panel discussion. Global Privilege is a complicated, important topic, and EDI is bringing together key industry leaders who deal with this issue on a daily basis. I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to deliver some tremendous insight.”

In addition to Mr. Daniels, panel members will consist of Natasha Williams, Director of Global Litigation & Investigations at Sanofi, Renee Meisel, Legal Director at Dell, Inc., and Kim Newman, Associate General Counsel – eDiscovery at Walmart.

EDI, the organization behind the Summit, is a non-profit based out of Washington, DC. It was founded with the mandate to explore and resolve the challenges in electronic discovery resulting from massive increases in the amount of electronic data and communications.
