Grow Global Presenting Masterclass at International Trade Event Click:Connect:Sell
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 16 October 2013 -- The workshop is aimed at new and experienced exporters looking to break into international markets and is based on the expertise of Grow Global’s founder Sarah Carroll. The masterclass is for anyone who is ready to take the next step in their exporting journey, whether they are just starting out or want to build on their existing export strategy to target new markets. Sarah Carroll will be taking the international e-commerce masterclass on a national roadshow during 2014.
Attendees at today’s masterclass will gain insight into what they need to do to develop a solid international e-commerce strategy and how to choose and build e-commerce systems that will attract and appeal to customers around the world. It is aimed at helping UK businesses’ boost online international sales and transform their UK e-commerce strategy to better support international e-commerce. Grow Global is to play a key role in a national web exporting programme to be launched at Click:Connect:Sell and championed by Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), following a longstanding partnership with UKTI.
Sarah Carroll, founder of Grow Global, comments: “So far we have conducted more than 350 website audits to help UK companies to internationalise their online sales. A recent case study from a London company we have supported, Cyclehoop, revealed that a year ago it was getting just one enquiry a month through its website. Now it’s getting 70% of its total turnover from leads generated via the web.”
Grow Global has been integral in developing the methodology and technical information guides for the UKTI Export Communications website reviews (ECRs). This has included topics such as: how to register international domain names, how to structure a website to optimise it for international trade, how to localise a website to appeal to different cultures and how to monitor where international visitors come from.
Grow Global has also licensed its very popular and effective masterclass on Web Optimisation for International Trade, now in its second year. By the end of this year more than 70 workshops will have been delivered throughout the UK, with well over 1,000 delegates attending. One of Sarah’s recent delegates realised the power of exporting online at a recent masterclass in London, saying that it “made a big impression and may even be game-changing in terms of developing this aspect of our business.”
Sarah will be doing a national roadshow in 2014, offering her expertise to businesses who want to create or improve their e-commerce export strategy to boost international sales and attract potential customers from their target markets globally.
